I have improved my contents page greatly by completing the text so I now have my story. I made the font of my text much smaller to fit in with the usual conventions of a music magazine. I also added a gradient to my background as the completely white background did not seem very professional. This was also suggested in my audience feedback. I have added an image at the bottom and I will be adding one more and some text underneath them to fill in any white space

Audience Feedback

Here is some of the audience feedback I have received. The ages of the people that have given me the feedback will also be included to show that they are within my target age group.

Front Cover:

• I love the text used for the title. And the picture is great as all the subjects are looking directly at the audience. - Age 17
• Your front cover is really good, the way your masthead goes into where you have your coverlines. I also really like the cover lines and the text. - Age 17
• The front cover looks very professional and I really like your logo. - Age 16

Contents Page:

• I really like how full the contents page is, it follows the conventions of a music magazine contents page. The main picture matches the cover photo which makes is consistent including the name of the magazine. The colour scheme is great as it also connects with the colour of her hair in the main picture. One thing to improve is the white space at the bottom although it looks like there is going to be something put there. - Age 17
• The contents page is amazing, you just need to add the text in now and it will look fantastic. - Age 17
• The contents page is packed like it should be despite not being finished. - Age 16

Double Page Spread

• I'd suggest adding a few more things, even simple things like a line to separate text, little but effective things that will fill some white space. - Age 16
• My suggestion would maybe be to add a really light layer in the background, just so it isn't solid white? Maybe even just a different colour gradient fading into white? Just to break up the background a tad. I also really like the title font. - Age 22
• I like the image as it corresponds with the image on the front cover as it is the same girl. The colour of her hair also fits in with the house style and some of the text on the page, which brings the house style together. I would fill some of the white space at the bottom of the page.

More Progress on Front Cover

I have now completed the red side bar on my front cover and have started to work on the bottom bar which I will continue working on.
